Health insurance deductible
A health insurance deductible is the amount you pay out of pocket each year for eligible healthcare services before your insurance plan begins covering costs.
You are responsible for paying the first $1,000 of eligible services each year. Once that amount is reached, your insurance will start paying its share of costs according to your plan’s rules.
Understanding your deductible helps you plan ahead for therapy costs. Some clients may find that they are responsible for the full session fee until the deductible is met, while others may benefit from coverage sooner.
Please note that no refunds are provided for services that have already been rendered.
Yes. We may contact your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits, including copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and pre authorizations.
